Established in 2006, Moray Business Women is a dynamic club for business and professional women in and around Moray. We welcome all working women whether business owner or professional – employee, self employed, employer. Our members come from all walks of life. From small enterprising individuals to charity groups to large organisations. We offer a range of membership packages to suit individuals, corporate and groups. Moray Business Women is now one of the largest business women’s club in Scotland. It regularly achieves an annual membership of around 60 members and is continually growing.
“We hope to see more and more new faces in the current year and make Moray Business Women as strong as each of its members.”
We have regular monthly meetings and our aim is to provide variety and diversity. Our events are underpinned by a friendly welcome, networking and getting to know your fellow members a little better. Whether a social event, an event to showcase our members, a guest speaker, practical tools and topics we would like you to feel in good company. Guest speakers may be inspirational business women and men, to politicians and entrepreneurs. We welcome members and non members to all our events so why not introduce a friend?
In April 2011, MBW launched its mentoring scheme, aimed at MBW members who are new to business, making changes or growing their business. Through our network of members we look to offer support and guidance throughout those early and significant stages.
Our annual Moray Business Women Awards celebrates the achievements of those women in and around Moray who have excelled in their business and professional life. With three award categories we look to award all business women be it business owners, professionals as well as recognising enterprising businesses and MBW members’ individual achievements. The awards are celebrated at our annual Ball, a night of celebration of our year with the entire profit and fundraising going towards our charity.
Each year the club actively supports a chosen charity through fundraising at our networking events and annual awards ball. This is a charity or cause which demonstrates benefits for or has direct links to the Moray area.
